Well, first day of my new project and I was determined to make my first post full of sparkle, motivation, energy and general positiveness. However, I apologise now, I have been hit with a flare up; no sleep for several nights, a long journey home from holiday, to which I feel I need another already. I have pain, nausea, exhaustion, fatigue, crying, and all the wonderful things that come with living with this disease. Oh well, this is day one so we might as well start from the bottom.
So, I hope with some of the changes I want to implement over the next 100 days, I will learn to live with the symptoms that present themselves. I am cutting out alcohol, dairy, caffeine and sugar. I am hoping to be active for at least an hour each day, and I want to try introducing different steps into my daily routine to see what works, and what doesn’t. I teach Pilates, so I have a head start with the activity – although sometimes it takes all my energy just to attend the studio.
So day one, not much to report, but my #100daychallenge journey has begun! This is my personal journey of the ups and downs, challenges and achievements of my self set challenge, and one in which may help one or maybe two other sufferers who are waging their own war against an invisible illness. Let the battle commence!
